Months ago i was invited to the Sushi San brunch which was a sit down Omakase/chef selected menu. You must go back soon as they have completely revamped their Brunch concept and I have say I LOVE their vibe and offerings! Expect it to be more entertaining, interactive and fun for their guests. Also it is hosted on a Thursday evening so it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long workweek!
The Thursday evening brunch is AED 185 net for soft drinks and 250 net for house beverages. If you enjoy alcoholic beverages, definitely go for their house package as their drinks as so unique and delicious. For a limited time, I saw on entertainer a Buy1 Get 1 package offer on now for SushiSan for house package, what a deal! Also, they are holding their Tuesday and Thursday sushi brunches throughout Ramadan too!
Starters
They have a lavish buffet set up of their starters – cold salads, and unique bites such as their beef nigiri balls, Choi San baos (lettuce wraps) and japanese pizza!
Their fusion brunch also features a hot food section where you can find tempura, dumplings and more!
Desserts
At the floating shelves of the buffet section holds an abundant amount of desserts including a chocolate fountain!
I especially enjoyed some of the Asian delectables such as green tea creame brûlée! These gems are so hard to find in Abu Dhabi!
Sushi
Now onto my favorite part which is the sushi and sashimi! Make sure you to with empty stomachs as this is an unlimited all you can eat endeavor. They have a list of rolls made to order so make sure you try out all of them. I really enjoy the smaller portion sizes (3pc each) so I could get a taste of absoloutely everything. The sashimi selection is also impressive!
Drinks
My husband and I also enjoyed the drinks selection the most at SushiSan. They have two bars which were quite interactive. One is for cocktail where you can try their sake cocktail among other types of unique mixes. There is also another bar exclusively for moonshine! We tried the Smokey moonshine where they infuse it with of course, smoke! Try it for yourself if you haven’t already. It’s quite a neat concept and does promise for a great fun night!!
The DJ was excellent that night and they have a large communal table which can seat up to 18 guests for your party! Hope to see you there next time!
