Have you been to the capital’s newest rooftop lounge? It’s becoming one of the city’s hotspots, especially on monday evenings as they are promoting a gent’s night. Finally a night out where gents get to enjoy complimentary drinks! Keep on reading for recommendations and upcoming promotions.
Overlooking the WTC towers, you can enjoy sunset views and a city night view. There is a large pool in the middle where you may see hotel guests swimming. After sunset, the pool is closed and the staff fills the pool with a few lit floating balls to set the lounge ambience.
Signature Cocktails (AED 55):
You can ask the staff at Level for a good recommendation. Prescilla was able to mix me the Schedar, Orion and the Betelgeuse which I enjoyed as I love sweet and fruity cocktails. These were excellent choices for a refreshing and light drink of the day. Beers were priced fairly at (AED 30), they have many promotions going on right now including gents night (mondays) and ladies night (tuesdays).
Happy Hour is Daily 5-8pm. Ladies night on Tuesdays from 8pm – midnight (3 free drinks for ladies) Gents night is Mondays from 8pm – midnight (3 free drinks for gents).
Shisha (AED 90):
They have over a dozen different flavors for shisha. My husband’s favorite is double apple mint – they enjoyed for 2-3 hours and the shisha server came by several times to refresh the coals. The service was good and the ambience was perfect to enjoy shisha on the rooftop.
Street Eats:
I tried a few different dishes here at Level, be sure to accommodate enough time as currently the food is cooked and prepared in another restaurant. I was informed that they are working on having a kitchen on same level so that the food orders can be accommodated quickly. Their food menu is small but adequate to enjoy a snack with drinks and shisha. My favorite dish was the beef ribs with cheesy fries (AED 52) – the ribs were so soft and tender, oozing with flavor from the sauce it was braised in for hours. The cheesy fries paired great with our cocktails and beers.
The shrimp buns (Mexican Gua Pao AED 56) looked quite appetizing and was a great shareable as it came in three portions. As well they do a great asian bites shareable platter (AED 36) which comes with vegetable spring rolls and a fresh sushi roll.
If you like to order a full meal – they have the Burrito Boat (AED 36) or the Veal Brioche (AED 42) which were filling options.
