Steak lovers paradise at Crowne Plaza Yas Island at Stills Restaurant and Bar. Did you know they host steak night every Wednesday? We got to indulge in an all-you-can-eat steak feast with all the fixings. Keep on reading for my experience at their steak night.
It was my first time at Stills Restaurant and Bar, I was so impressed with their décor and venue. It boasts the longest bar in Abu Dhabi and it has so much outdoor space with a great ambiance. We sat outside during our steak night but as the weather heats up they have ample space indoors to host guests as well.
Outside they have set up their buffet for their steak night. What you can find at the buffet bar ranges from cheeses of all kinds to salads and breads. Their salads were fresh and were portioned well in small jars and plates. Be sure to eat some greens for the night because a long evening of meat is ahead of you.
The best part is their outdoor kitchen tent which features a large grill and heated trays for their hot sides. Of course the meat was the best part of the night, they feature an US rib-eye cooked to your liking. I enjoy my steaks rare and the chefs can definitely cook a mean steak. They have 5-6 sauces for the steak and my favorite of the night was the Bearnaise sauce which pairs perfectly with rare steak. You can expect your steak and sauce of choice to come directly to your table, cooked to your liking and cut into strips. I found the meat to be tender, juicy a full of flavor. There was a bit of fat on each of the steaks but I actually found out one of my friends love the fat portion of the steak! The portion of the steak was pretty hefty and I could only enjoy almost two whole steaks before calling it a night. How many steaks would you be able to eat?
Last but not least, they have a large dessert table filled with dozens of dessert choices. I think it would have been perfect if it was paired with some coffee or tea to ease our full stomachs.
The steak night was also came with a carafe of wine which you could enjoy in red or white. The carafe was approximately 3 glasses of wine which was great with the steak. For the best pairing, red is always better with steak.
You could enjoy this feast of great food for just AED 225 per person. Your Wednesday will be like no other!
