Biryani Pot, Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi
Have you ever tried their quinoa biryani before? It is so delicious not to mention a healthy and hearty alternative. The meat in their biryani was also so soft and tender – the lamb or chicken are the best choices.
We were invited for an exclusive tasting at the hidden gem, Biryani Pot in the Galleria Mall. This location features a fast-food court style dining style. As one of the major outlets in the food court, we were able to find this venue easily. Next to their counter they have a private seating area for their guests, however, there is ample seating indoor as well as outdoor on their terrace overlooking the gulf.
Appetizers
One of my favorite appetizers from Biryani Pot is the Masala Samosas. It’s a savory pastry stuffed with spiced potatoes. I love it here as they plate it colorfully and it is a lovely shareable dish. If you are a lover of pomegranates like me, you will surely enjoy the Masala Quinoa Salad – they have combinations of savory and sweet ingredients that bring the dish together.
Curries & Biryani
Of course, we had our share of biryani while we were here. Their famous chicken biryani is so flavourful and tossed with all the right spices. Don’t forget to try their quinoa biryani too – a healthier option offering organic grains with high protein levels.
For their curries, I always love to order a butter chicken to go with my roti and naan breads. This curry was so creamy and rich. The portion was also pretty large so we packed some for takeaway to enjoy at home with our rice and breads.
Mix Grill
At biryani pot, they also specialize in Tandoor grills. Some of my favorites are chicken tikka and the lamb kebabs. We were able to order the mixed grill available here to get a little bit of everything! The meat was grilled nicely with lots of flavor.
Drinks
Lastly, I wanted to mention the drinks we also enjoyed with our meal. They have fresh juices like orange juice, but my favorites of the day would be the mango lassi! I can’t get enough of that.
