Last week, I was invited to enjoy iftar at the Saraya Ramadan Tent next to Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi. A grand tent is set up right by the Corniche, you would not miss it! Outside, there is ample parking and even valet parking available. As sunset approached we quickly went through the front entrance where we were greeted by a red-carpet welcome.
Inside, there is a corridor for the reception where we quickly signed in and they brought us through the doors into the large grand tent decked out with luxurious seating and table settings. All along the walls, lounge areas are set up for their Suhoor. Some of the lounge seating had private flat-screens where you could have hours of personal entertainment. Shisha is available upon request.
Suhoor is available during Ramadan Sun-Sat starting at 9:00pm to 3:00am for minimum spend of AED 125 from their a la carte menu.
My friend and I opted to sit right by the buffet table. Large projector screens covered the walls, and it broadcasted the cannon blast live from the Grand Mosque. They had dim-purple lighting along the tent which made it look so elegant and magnificent.
Their gorgeous buffet display features 2 large long tables full of Arabic mezzes, along with hot foods and meats. Some of my favorites of the nights were the lamb ouzi that they had a chef personally serve to you. There was also a mac-and-cheese I really enjoyed. They also had two-choices for soup of the day and a variety of Ramadan juices available included in the buffet.
For the desserts, they had just as many dessert options as they did apps/mains. Dessert is my favorite part of the night so I was definitely not disappointed. The colored eclairs were my highlights of the night! The table was covered in all sort of colors, from the fruits, to the cakes and puddings. What an amazing set up!

The Saraya tent is a good and convenient option for your next iftar for any size party! They have over 700 seats available in the tent, but be sure to book early as I have seen it fill up!
