Hidden gem alert at Pinza in Umm Al Emarat Park! If you love fresh ingredients, healthy eating and Italian pizza this is the place for you! My friends and I arrived at Umm Al Emarat Park for the first time to eat at Pinza Pizzeria.
Welcome
It was a quiet afternoon as most residents have stopped visiting the park in the daytime due to the hot weather. There was ample free parking but we had to pay 5 dhs each person to get inside the park. Once inside, it was so lovely, beautiful fountains and lush gardens! I understand why 5 dhs is needed to maintain such a stunning area. We quickly found Pinza Pizzeria right by the entrance beside Parkers. There is indoor area inside the pizzeria for their guests. Approximately 8-10 tables.
Suman greeted us and had introduced us to the menu and the Pinza concept. Did you know Pinza pizza is only 20% flour and 80% water? In fact, if you eat Pinza vs Pizza it will feel lighter and fresher.
Menu
They have an iconic turquoise blue menu outlining more than a dozen different pinzas. You can customize your order on the toppings and sauces. We sampled the following Pinzas:
- Pesto
- Pinzafied
- Truffle Goodness
- Parmigiana
- Almalfi
- Tandoori Chicken
- Banana Nutella
We also tried the following organic drinks available at Pinza:
- Mint – Orange Pekoe Tea
- Peach Mango Jasmine White Peony Tea (my favorite)
- Pomegranate Rose Water Hibiscus Flower Tea (crowd favorite)
Recommendations
Among 4 of us, it was more than enough and we had even had 2 boxes for takeaway. My favorites of the day was the Tandoori Chicken and the Pinzafied. The Pinzafied was one of the most unique, spread with burrata cheese it was surprisingly light, mild and very tasty!

My husband enjoyed the Pesto the most while I had another friend rave about the Burrata Salad. Pinza Pizzeria has something for everyone.
If you love (and I mean really love) truffles, the Truffle Goodness is made for you. Super strong truffle smell and taste.
Lastly we ended our meal on a sweet note with the Banana Nutella, it reminded me of Nutella crepes but a lot more crispy!
