Located in the Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi, the Emporio Armani Caffe is sure to impress and please the classiest chocolate lovers. Thursday night, we came as a party of 3. There were ample seats in the lounge, bar, dining room and terrace. The terrace has beautiful views of the skyline! I am sure in the daytime the view would be amazing as well.
Upon walking into the cafe, boxes of chocolates were on display with all Armani branded chocolates. Countless flavours! We sat down in the lounge area and started looking through the menu. The menu descriptions are very detailed with uncommon ingredient names. I needed to refer to the iPad pictures to determine which dessert I wanted. I opted for the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream and a decaf cappuccino. My husband ordered the tiramisu. Feel free to ask the staff any questions! They were very helpful and 2-3 servers were present during the time of our order. After ordering our desserts/drinks we had completely forgotten about the branded Armani chocolates we could purchase. Possibly next time we will order those before our main desert.
The wait for the desserts took a while but since it was a lounge, we mostly took our time chatting. The drinks came first after 15-20 minutes. My cappuccino came out beautifully presented with rose latte art. The sugar packets were even branded by their Armani Caffe.
Desserts
Our table had 2 tiramisu (~38AED) and a chocolate fondant (52 AED). We had to rearrange out table a bit to fit everything on their tiny lounge tables. The tirumisu was more pudding than cake to me. I did not fancy that too much. The chocolate fondant I ordered was definitely a sweet-tooth pleaser. It was perfectly paired with the cappuccino/coffee. The vanilla ice cream was good it came with a sugar stencil which perfected the presentation. My favourite part was digging into the chocolate fondant which spilled its soft and melty chocolate center! Yum.
